Pastel Goth

 

All my spooky friends know that pastel goth is a thing! Spring colors are lovely but they look even better paired with black. The mysticism corset is the perfect pastel purple shade and has lace along the neckline, boning in the front bodice and a ribbon lacing in the back. I have this corset in multiple shades and I'm wearing a medium here. I feel like I could probably take a small but I like having a little room to wear items underneath it. It's probably the most comfortable corset I own and I always get compliments when I wear them!

The pink version of the haunted hallows picnic basket is limited edition so I'm glad I was able to snag one! It's *huge* so it's perfect for a picnic or for storing things in your home. The inside has this beautiful spiderweb lining so it's definitely on theme. Bianca is already taking ownership of this basket because pink is her favorite color. How could I deny her?

Hi Barbie! I'm so excited to show you another piece from the Barbie x Harvey's collaboration! This circle crossbody is inspired by a vintage Barbie carrying case and is the perfect finishing touch to your Barbie inspired outfit. This happens to be my favorite piece in the collection because it's incredibly versatile and it comes in black (the best color ever).

The circle crossbody is made from black seatbelts and features a Barbie signature embroidery on the front along with an adorable Barbie patch. Spring Chick

 

As usual, spring is here early and Bianca and I are loving it! I'll say this over and over again but I'm still so happy that she likes to coordinate outfits with me. Normally we match with the same exact pieces but we did something a little different and picked out our own outfits from Ivy City's new Easter Collection. Luckily, so many pieces can be mixed and matched so I feel like we compliment each other quite nicely!

This is my first pair of pants from Ivy City and they did not disappoint! I love a wide leg pant and these are super comfy. I ended up going up a size (medium) because of my hips and it was the right call! I'm wearing it with this adorable eyelet button down but there's also a matching blue gingham top that I need to add to my closet right away.

Bianca has claimed this as her new favorite dress! She's all about pink and ruffles so this piece is an absolute dream. It a super soft knit slips right on, perfect for anyone on the go. She's wearing her usual 11-12 in this dress and I feel like she *could* size up a little for length but she was happy as-is.

1959 Barbie

 

Hi Barbie! I'm so excited that Harvey's has teamed up with Barbie herself to create a beautiful collection honoring the iconic doll. If you aren't aware, Barbie's first appearance was in 1959 and she debuted her first outfit: the striped swimsuit. This tote bag pays homage to this outfit and every detail inside and out had Barbie in mind. I'm excited to show you more!

The Barbie tote features black and white striped seatbelts on both sides with Barbie on the front. The pink rosette in her hair is also made from seatbelts and adds a 3D touch. The charm is Barbie in her original suit and the zipper pull is her signature. The handles are Barbie pink and it also comes with a matching removable shoulder strap. Inside you'll find the Barbie pink lining with her signature and three open pockets and one zippered pocket. It's quite a large bag, you can fit everything you need and more in there!

Two Hearts

 

Happy Valentine's Day! Normally I'd have tons of Valentine's/Valloween content by now but I'm just starting to get back into the groove of going out and taking photos again. It's been cold, dreary and rainy (which I *love*) so I haven't had many opportunities to go outside but this dress deserved its own post. I've had this dress for years but never actually worn it out... that needed to change immediately!

This Sister Jane dress has everything I love: puffy sleeves, a fun print and gorgeous details. I'm not a fan of molded cups (mostly because I never fit into them) but this dress is an exception. I almost always wear a size medium in Sister Jane and this dress is a great fit. If I had to change anything, I would add pockets and extend their size range. Let's get some actual plus sizes please!

I hope your Valentine's Day is filled with love, whether you're in a romantic relationship or not. Kevin and I love to make this day special for Bianca so she knows that this holiday is more about love than romance. We will most likely be going out for burgers (veggie and otherwise) and enjoying a rainy night in on the couch!
